11 Stories

11stories madforlove

At 11stories we create custom books that capture and celebrate love stories. Owner Elisabeth loves helping couples celebrate their love in a unique and timeless way. “I’ve always been a romantic at heart. And I’m always the person at the cocktail party who asks not “what do you do?” but “how did you meet?” Because more often than not, the response is a great story!”

So how does it work? We sit together for two hours, settled into a comfy couch, and I ask you both to tell your story. What were your first impressions of each other? What was it that made you fall in love? What quirks do you love, and what might you want to change about each other?! You take turns sharing the stories of how you met, how you got engaged, and other fun details. I capture your banter, how you talk with and over each other, how you may challenge or laugh at or disagree with one another.

I capture your voices and organize your story, in your own words, into a custom-designed book. I incorporate your favorite snapshots, your engagement photos, your wedding invite – any details you wish to include to personalize your book. Your book arrives, professionally printed and tied with a silver ribbon, ready to be displayed at your wedding. A perfect way to share your story with friends and family.

Celebrate your love story!

The Wedding Party

The Wedding Party was opened by Jennifer Colgan and Clara Petit, in 2001, as an alternative to the standard bridesmaid dress – not reusable and not particularly fun to wear! The dresses are selected with a ready to wear sensibility, keeping them current and wearable. The bridal collection is thoughtfully curated, featuring gowns from vintage to modern, with lots in between. It’s a perfect match for Bay Area brides looking to create their own vibe. Jennifer and Clara love helping brides create their unique look, giving The Wedding Party a wonderfully diverse portfolio.
